Welcome to Cougar Tracks: the newspaper that encompasses the fast-paced world of maroon and black! This newspaper is designed for students and the community to keep up with the Cougars’ at Quaboag Regional, covering everything from plays to sports and every meeting and show in between!
The newspaper is headed by Mr. Bailey, a history teacher at QRMHS, and a newspaper club comprised of students working on web design, photography, writing and editing. Everyone involved in the newspaper works hard in their elements to produce an accurate representation of the energy and community that makes up Quaboag Regional Middle High School.
In order to fully depict the community of Quaboag, the goal of the Cougar Tracks is to be an extended part of that community. Beyond the hard workers that put together the online newspaper, the most important members of the paper will be the Quaboag community itself. We encourage people to use the articles newspaper members write as a platform to sprout discussions. We also promote the online interaction that connects the newspaper team and the reader: writing submissions, feedback, polls, suggestions for ideas or even pictures that you think should be incorporated into the paper.
Students at Quaboag from every grade level that are interested in the any of the facets that go into making Cougar Tracks are welcome to join the team and be an even bigger contributor to the success of the paper.
Cougar Tracks is a compilation of all the amazing things happening at Quaboag told through the voices of students in order to keep Quaboag connected and foster involvement. We hope all the readers will help to support the development of the paper starting out as a small speck that, with the aid of the community, will expand into a flourishing network, connecting everyone at the ‘Boag.
